We didn’t set out to start a treat company. We set out to create something we felt good about sharing with our son, Khota.

It Started at Home
Like many parents, we found ourselves paying closer attention to the foods we brought into our home.
The more we searched, the more we realized how difficult it was to find treats that were fun, great tasting, and aligned with the values that mattered most to us.
And honestly? We thought there had to be a better way.
A better way to create the joyful moments families look forward to without compromising the values that matter most.

So We Got to Work
We started asking questions. About ingredients. About sourcing. About quality. About why finding better options felt so complicated.
One idea became another. The start of one recipe became three. And before long, Candy Khota’d began to take shape.
Not as a business plan. But as a belief.
A belief that families shouldn’t have to choose between something everyone loves and something they feel good about bringing to the table.

As our journey continued, we discovered something else. The same values that mattered in our kitchen mattered to the people growing, producing, and supplying the ingredients behind the products we enjoyed most.
That’s why we seek partnerships with family farms and businesses that share our commitment to quality, integrity, and doing things the right way.
Because behind every ingredient is a story. And behind every product is a person, a family, and a community.
Today, Candy Khota’d is about more than treats. Our faith shapes how we lead, how we serve, and how we steward.

Originally from Oklahoma and now proudly rooted in Northwest Arkansas, Amanda has built her life around faith, family, and a desire to serve others.
Her professional journey has taken her from corporate agriculture and farm retail to nonprofit leadership. Along the way, she discovered a passion for building relationships and helping others succeed. Those experiences now shape the way she leads Candy Khota’d.
Amanda is a devoted wife, a proud mother to Logan and Khota, and a grateful bonus mom to SarahBella. Her family is her greatest joy. She believes many of life’s most meaningful moments happen around the table with the people you love.
She brings the heart of the brand to life through its creative direction and retail operations. She also leads the company’s community outreach. No matter what she is doing, she wants people to feel genuinely seen and valued.

Rohmel Weathers

Born in Springdale, Arkansas, Rohmel has spent his career building businesses and developing people. His experience has taught him how to help organizations grow without losing sight of what matters most.
His background spans entrepreneurship, business consulting, and leadership roles in retail and customer experience. Through it all, Rohmel has remained grounded in one belief: an organization’s greatest asset is its people. That principle shapes how he leads Candy Khota’d and approaches its growth.
Several years ago, Rohmel returned home to Arkansas when his father developed a serious heart condition. He stepped away from his career to spend time with his dad. That season reinforced something he had always believed: being present for the people we love matters more than any professional achievement.
Rohmel is a devoted husband, a proud father to SarahBella, and a grateful bonus dad to Logan and Khota. After praying with Amanda about what God had next for their family, the two began building Candy Khota’d together. What started with creating better treats for their family grew into an opportunity to combine their experience and build something meaningful for the future.
Today, Rohmel applies his entrepreneurial experience to recipe development, ingredient sourcing, and business operations. He is especially passionate about partnering with family farms and other businesses that share Candy Khota’d’s commitment to quality and doing things the right way.

Khota is the heart behind Candy Khota’d. He inspired its name and is the reason this family journey began.
Born and raised in Arkansas, Khota is a high school student with a contagious smile and a genuine love for people. He enjoys trapshooting, building intricate LEGO creations, and adding to his Hot Wheels collection. He also likes helping at Candy Khota’d events and approaches each experience with curiosity and joy.
Khota has a natural ability to make people feel welcome. His kindness and enthusiasm have become part of the personality of Candy Khota’d. He reminds his family that success is measured not only by what they build, but also by how people feel when they are part of it.
As a young man on the autism spectrum, Khota continues to discover his strengths and what he is capable of accomplishing. Through Candy Khota’d, he is gaining hands-on experience with business, customer service, and financial responsibility. Each market and new responsibility helps him build greater confidence and independence for the future.
You may see Khota greeting customers, helping behind the scenes, or offering his opinion as chief taste tester. But his greatest contribution cannot be packaged in a box. He brings the joy and heart that have inspired Candy Khota’d from the beginning.
